Ready Steady Cook - Waiheke Style

Ready Steady Cook -Waiheke Style is a one off ticketed event that will showcase the best of local food and talent. Local personalities and chefs will compete to create the best  meals they can (as judged by the audience) with locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.

In the first challenge, local personalities John Hawkesby and Denise Roche will have 30 minutes to battle it out to create the meal that will win audience approval. John Hawkesby is a wine critic, columnist and supporter of all things Waiheke. Denise Roche is a newly elected Green MP and long time advocate for the environment.

In the second challenge, local chefs Justin Scheihing from Casita Miro and Marco Edwardes from Te Whau Vineyard Restaurant will face off to make not one, but two meals in 30 minutes.

Date: 20th January

Time: arrive at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm show start

Venue: The Goldie Room, 18 Causeway Rd

Tickets: $35 - includes a glass of wine and canapes on arrival. Available from the WRT website, at the WRT office in Artworks and The Lazy Lounge
