Saturday 14th January

Junk to Funk 7 Day Challenge begins. Register and pick up your mystery bag of materials from the WRT office in Artworks from 9am - 12pm


Sunday 15th January

Junk to Funk 7 Day Challenge Construction Club at Artworks 9.30am-11.30am


Monday 16th January

Waiheke Working Sail: 21st Century Coastal Shipping for the Hauraki Gulf. Presentation at the Oneroa Bowling Club - 7pm
 
 

Tuesday 17th January

Open day with Hobbyist Bee Keepers 9am - 6pm. 5 Omiha Rd, Rocky Bay


Junk to Funk 7 Day Challenge Construction Club at Artworks 12-2pm


Movie "Animamundi" at the Waiheke Community Cinema - 8pm. Tickets $12 from the WRT office or at the cinema on the night. To book in advance call 372 2915

Wednesday 18th January

Island Coffee roasting demo at The Roastery, 21B Belgium St, Ostend 8.30am-10am


Thursday 19th January

Junk to Funk 7 Day Challenge Construction Club at Artworks from 12-2pm


Onetangi Community Garden open day from 5pm-7pm. 399 Seaview Rd 


Friday 20th January

Onetangi Community Garden open day from 5pm-7pm. 399 Seaview Rd


Ready Steady Cook - Waiheke Style at The Goldie Room - 6pm onwards. Watch local chefs Justin Scheihing (Casita Miro) and Marco Edwardes (Te Whau Vineyard Restaurant) and personalities Denise Roche (Green MP) and John Hawkesby (columnist) cook up a storm with local and seasonal ingredients to win audience approval. Tickets $35 from the WRT office and the Lazy Lounge. Ticket price includes a glass of wine and canapes.


Saturday 21st January

Junk to Funk challenge ends, all entries must be bought to the WRT office by 12 noon for judging


Ostend Community Garden open day from 10am-2pm. 30 Putiki Rd (next to the Catherine Mitchell Centre)


Pecha Kucha (Small Talks) evening 7pm at  Artworks Theatre. 8 inspirational speakers with 10 minutes and 10 slides each. Tickets $20 from the WRT office and the Lazy Lounge. Tickets include a glass of wine and snacks


Sunday 22nd January

Sunday Market 10am-4pm. Stalls, food, live music, the Waiheke Radio 2nd Annual Record, DVD and CD sale, Junk to Funk Parade and Prizegiving, FREE bike repairs, t shirt screenprinting with Nora and lots more...
