Transport

There are lots of simple initiatives that could reduce traffic  congestion around our schools, help our children lead healthier lives and reduce carbon emissions. Think about which ones might suit your school best.

• Establish a walking school bus for children to get to school.  Or ensure children are safely able to ride their bikes or walk on their own.
• Encourage parents from the same areas to carpool to get their kids to school.
• Run a project where students brainstorm and/or create innovative alternative forms of transport that don’t rely on fossil fuels.
