Join us on Meatfree Monday Nov 7th as Waiheke’s World of Food visits Sri Lanka – the Pearl of the East.
Experience the vivid array of explosive flavour combinations, fresh ingredients and wonderful spices, courtesy of our skilled Sri Lankan chefs – Indy (of Indy’s Curry Pot) and Banda (of 372).
These events are family friendly and 100% plant based. Menu as follows:
Dhal Curry
Coconut sambal
Wade (traditional fried snacks made from lentils, similar to falafel)
Dessert Pol toffee (coconut toffee)
Come at 4pm for the cooking class or 6pm for dinner. Our last few events have been very popular so we are placing a limit of 60 on this one to ensure everyone gets enough to eat. Come early to avoid disappointment, or pm Fiona to reserve a spot 🙂
